Blunt Youth Radio from the University of Southern Maine is hiring a part-time, temporary Assistant.
The Assistant will help train and supervise a growing group of high school members who produce a live weekly radio show airing Thursdays from 6 to 7 PM on WMPG 90.9 FM.
We’re looking for a radio producer who has experience working with young people. You’ll work closely with WMPG’s Youth Programs Coordinator to foster a supportive, creative, and fun space for young people to learn radio and reporting skills.
Hours and compensation:
- Hours: 4 hours per week (Thursdays from 3-7pm)
- Pay: $22 per hour for 52 weeks to coincide with WMPG’s fiscal year
